Explanation: Stating a routine.

Stating a routine is essentially listing a series of activities that happen at a given time. Essentially, it’s a matter of memorizing vocabulary that goes with a routine. However, note that in Chinese preferred word order is: Subject > Time > Verb = I Monday work, I July go to California, I at 12:00 eat lunch. In English, for calendar time it is acceptable to say either “In January I’ll go to China” or “I’ll go to China in January.” But it’s pretty weird in English to say things like “I at 12:00 eat lunch.” Conversely, it’s wrong in Chinese to say, “Wo chifan shi’er dian zhong.” The Verbs above are pretty randomly chosen; think of routines that can actually fit your own life and habits.
